ETC Voices Podcast 001

http://www.archive.org/details/EtcVoicesPodcast001

KMO talks with the other folks who live, learn, and work at the Ecovillage Training Center in Summertown, Tennessee. This week, KMO talks with Merry Moore, the ETC innkeeper about the kitchen co-op she conceived and continues to refine, then comes a walk and talk with Cliff Davis, ETC Head Gardener, about collecting and using local micro-organisms to make compost tea, and finally Garrison, an ETC permaculture apprentice, shares some surfer lingo.

I've set up an ETC Journal Pix group on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/groups/etcjournal/

If you have photos of the ETC to share, let me know via email and I'll add you to the group.

If you are looking for images of the Hippitat, check out this video:

  2. Thanks KMO for this podcast! I really enjoyed it, and look forward to more. You do a wonderfully professional job of it, as I'm thinking you do with anything you take on! The rooster in the background kept bringing to mind the into music to the C-realm podcast, and that added a warm and familiar touch. Thank you. I related quite personally to your interview with Merry. I've saved her blog site to check out. Being someone who cooks and runs my own household as a small/type business, so I'm told, I'm interested in other's ways of handling one of our basic needs, food. The aspect of community in relation to food is one I want to incorporate more of into my own life. Thanks for the "in" as far as info goes with this interview. I imagine myself as an apprentice there one day, and hope I manifest it as a reality one day soon. I'm enjoying all that you put out here... I thank you again! Peace and joy! Becky
